How the line works
There’s a line. Here’s how to handle it.
The line usually shortens by about 1-2 p.m., but we can’t guarantee the full menu will still be available at that time.

We recommend showing up between 8-10 a.m. to guarantee the full menu.
- 11 AM

We aim to have chopped beef, sausage and anything else that is left until 3 p.m. every day we are open.
Before you come
What we provide, what to bring
We provide
- Free water, provided daily
- Some seating for the line
- Patio heaters during winter months
- To-go containers, ready inside the dining room
- Fresh bread with every order
Bring
- Your own lawn chairs — seating gets more limited as the line grows
- A good idea of what you want before you order, to keep the line moving
- One payment for the group — we don’t do separate orders on different payments
- Patience and kindness for the people working the service line
Ordering at the counter
We ask that you get a good idea of what you want to order before placing your order inside. This allows us to keep the line moving quickly and efficiently and mitigate the amount of waiting time for guests in line. After your meats are cut, the sides person will get all your sides, desserts, pickles, onions, and bread. Sauce is on the table.
To-go orders
Currently, the line for to-go orders is the same as the ordering line. If you want your food for here, please don’t get it to-go — we have to-go containers ready for you inside the dining room. If you have both a to-go order and a dining in order, please let the cutter know first.
Ordering as a group
We recommend ordering together and sharing as a group to move the line more quickly. We don’t sell burnt ends, but sometimes you can get extra if we have them. All orders come with fresh bread, but since we make it in-house we can’t offer absurd amounts. If you need more pickles or onions, just ask.
A note from the Goldee’s family
Please be patient and kind to the people working on the service line. We want to serve you the best quality, at the fastest pace, with the best service and are more than willing to accommodate any need you might have.
Parking
Parking is at the restaurant, on site.
Getting in
The place is accessible. Dining room, counter and restrooms are all on one level, with no steps from the car park to the door.
If you need a hand
Your comfort is a priority for us. Ask anyone working that day — with the line, with a seat, with a tray.
FAQ
Questions people actually ask
What time should I arrive to get the full menu?
We recommend showing up between 8-10 a.m. to guarantee the full menu. With that said, some things may run out and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
What happens later in the day?
The line usually shortens by about 1-2 p.m., but we can’t guarantee the full menu will still be available at that time. We aim to have chopped beef, sausage and anything else that is left until 3 p.m. every day we are open.
Is there a separate line for to-go?
Currently, the line for to-go orders is the same as the ordering line, and everything is sold on a first come first serve basis. If you would rather not wait in it, pre-order online instead: pick a day and a 15-minute pickup window from 7 to 30 days ahead, build your order by the pound from a 5 lb minimum, and pay when you book. Collect in the window you picked — everything is sliced when you arrive, so allow a few minutes.
How much should I order per person?
We recommend about ½ - ¾lb per person on average. If you’re not super hungry and just want a few bites, we suggest ordering ¼lb.
Is there anywhere to sit while I wait?
We provide some seating for the line, but feel free to bring your own lawn chairs, as seating options become more and more limited as the line gets longer. During winter months, we provide patio heaters.
When are you open?
Open Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun 11am-3pm or sold out.
Still don’t want to wait?
Pre-order runs every day of the week, even when the kitchen is closed.
